'Lidia Vianu's interest in English language poetry encompasses the fields of criticism, theory and translation. The translation projects she has created are ambitious, wide-ranging and enormously valuable. In this book there is collected together the work of a considerable number of British poets, each represented by a single poem, with translations as well as a CD with still more. It provides a fascinating insight into a range of poetic voices, and, by presenting the work in biligual form throughout, offers pleaseure in both languages. As someone who has worked closely with Romanian translators in the past I am delighted to see so much effort come to such fruition. As the title says, And the Story Isn't Over.
